These are little innuendos you might want to know while playing. This is probably most important: If the paint doesn't break, you're not out! 1. If you are hit with a paintball, and it doesn't break, you are still in the game. But don't stand there contemplating your near-out experience, or decide to lead a life of non-violence, rather, return fire, or dive for cover. If they go, "What?!?!?!?", go ahead and shoot them. 2. Some paintball fields enforce a 20 foot rule. What this means is that you cannot shoot another player within 20 feet, initially. The proper decorum is if you are within 20 feet of another player, you have to ask if they surrender. This is usually only effective if you catch them by surprise, ex: sneaking up behind them. If they refuse, you are welcome to inflict some pain from less than 20 feet. Ok, maybe it's like playing with 1% health, 0% armor, and a pea-shooter 3. Playing Paintball is not like playing Quake. So don't think you're hot-sh!t cause you can frag with the best of them. Paintball is totally different. The innuendos are to great and different for the tactics to be the same. I will discuss tactics in a different section.
