How to Determine Bad Paint

 

Problem

Solution

Paintball Marker shoots too fast
  • Reduce the velocity by turning the velocity adjuster counter clockwise
  • Make a softer spring, either by cutting no more than 1-2 cms from the spring, or buying a softer spring
Paintball Marker shoots too slow
  • Change to harder spring
  • The Marker is dirty
  • The wrong gun oil is being used
  • the spring is worn out

  • Adjust your velocity, make sure it fires faster than 240 fps and less than 300 fps.
  • Make sure the quality of paint is suitable for the gun(see below)

  • Make sure that the CO2 bottle has an O-ring attached to the nozzle
Paintball Marker Rapid Fires This conditions occurs during a few situations:
  • CO2 bottle is low on gas.
  • It is too cold. An expansion chamber will remedy the situation
  • The velocity is too low
How to Determine Bad paint Paint is very fragile, and needs to be taken care of, and used immediately.
  • Always use your paint as soon as possible. When paint is sedentary for long periods of time, the liquid will settle to the bottow, disforming the ball, which tends to cause erratic flightpaths and chopping, and weakening of the paintball wall, which leads to breaks
  • If you have to store paint, please store it in a cool dry place. Heat and moisture weakens and deforms the balls, which leads to breaks and
